The Origin of PcFixin’

Established in 2006 in Tokyo, Japan, PcFixin’ is a Commercial and Residential Tech Consulting & Computer Repair Service which provides both information and solutions.

As an American living abroad and working as customer service representative at an internet service provider, I began to build relationships with other foreigners who all shared one common problem. They were in Japan and didn’t have a tech savvy person that they could depend on when they had computer related issues. They wanted someone they could contact to come out to their location to evaluate and solve the problem they were experiencing. After hearing this request numerous times, I decided that I would visit a few people and see if I could resolve the problems that occurred with their computers. At first things, were a bit bumpy. Not everyone experiences the same computer problem at the same time and not everyone is able to properly explain the problem they are experiencing. I made it a point to listen to every word stated by my clients so that I could better resolve their issues or provide the best advice for the client going forward.

My early clients were instrumental in helping not only build confidence, but also in recommending my services to others in need. As word spread and I gained more clients, the need for registering PcFixin’ as a business was required. Most of the clients of PcFixin’ are residential, however, small businesses and even Embassies have frequently used the services of PcFixin’.

Now available in the US, PcFixin’ is able to provide the same level of service to both commercial and residential users. Whether software or hardware related, computer issues occur all the time.
